श्री गुरु चरण सरज राज , निज मनु मुकुर सुधारे |
बरनौ रघुबर बिमल जासु , जो धयक फल चारे ||
बुधिहिएँ तनु जानके , सुमेराव पवन -कुमार |
बल बूढी विद्या देहु मोहे , हरहु कलेस बिकार ||
Hanuman, the Hindu monkey god. Hanuman participated in Rama’s war against the demon king Ravana. Several texts also present him as an incarnation of Lord Shiva. He is the son of Anjana and Kesari, and is also described as the son of Vayu, who according to several stories, played a role in his birth.
