Taal: A Place to Explore

       Last August 23, 2016, our school had an immersion at Taal. A rainy and sunny day to feel the beauty of it. Taal is one of the provinces of Batangas. It is commonly known because of its ancestral houses and because of the Taal Volcano. Taal is also known as the Balisong and Barong Tagalog Capital of the Philippines.The first destination was in Ona’s Batangas Blade. It is the place where they make the best butterfly knife also known as the “balisong”. Our next destinations were the ancestral houses of Leon Apacible and Marcela Agoncillo. I realized that Taal is really a beautiful place because of its ancestral houses and because of its amazing churches and shrine like Our Lady of Caysasay Shrine.
