Back in the USA! Exploring Glacier National Park


We were pretty excited about re-entering the United States. Southern Canada hasn’t been so easy to wild camp and we’ve missed the freedom of Alaska, clearly the lower 48 are crazy busy in comparison to the most northern State but there’s still a lot of wilderness and the beautiful national forests. So we headed to the border between Waterton and Glacier National Parks and had beaming smiles and banter for the border guard. Sadly, he wasn’t in the mood for that and after asking us our itinerary for the USA he said there were a few issues with our plan. Firstly, we had to go back to the UK before we could reenter the States on another visa waiver, secondly we couldn’t sell our van as that would mean we’d be making money and last but not least, our red pepper wasn’t allowed to cross the border either!
