Writing Philosophy

A writer may specialize in one field or work across several formats. Depending on the area in which they work, I am an India based writer, written about yoga, relationships, Ayurveda, latest news and evils of the society to be curbed. I am a traveler. So, I have written about the holy places he visited. I am an Active member of Indian Blogging Communities, responsible to Develop and maintain corporate blogs. Research and write articles in a conversational style, which engages readers. Interface with key departments (executive, marketing, customer service, IT etc.) to insure blog content captures readers’ interest, while promoting company message. Use appropriate tools to provide management with metric reports. Use on-line and off-line social networking techniques for collaboration with people inside and outside the organization. Maintain quality assurance, by open information exchange with customer service and marketing departments. Promote company objectives with each blog article.

  10. Hi Vikas–I want to thank you for taking the time to visit my little corner of blog land—and for wanting to follow along on my journey of life’s reflections. Although you paint perhaps the picture of a job that may be a bit mundane—always on the phone and staring at a computer screen organizing information and adventures for clients, I think it sounds most exciting—as you get to know people by arranging adventures—I think travel is such a very important component to help bridge the gap of understanding between folks and of different cultures—creates wonderful understanding and relationships.
Your pictures are great and I look forward to exploring you blog more in depth—
    Many blessings Vikas—-Julie (aka cookie)

I was recently ‘told off’ by a blogger (not a follower I might add), who said my style of ‘welcome’ note was very much against blogging etiquette. Hmm, well I hope not to cause offence, but as you volunteered to become a follower of Uncle Spike’s Adventures, I just wanted to catch up and say “thank you, and that I appreciate your ‘follow’ as there are so many interesting and entertaining blogs out there.

Blogging since June 2013, my aim is to deliver an eclectic offering of posts, from my ‘point n shoot’ attempts at basic photography, to the sharing of my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day to day happenings here on our farm in Turkey. Oh, plus a few observations, opinions and lighter-hearted stuff thrown in for good measure.

I normally keep to a couple of posts a day, maybe 3-4 at weekends if I have something special to share. But if you are at a loose end one day, maybe you’ll enjoy trawling through some of my older stuff too. I have added plenty of categories to help in said digging process. That’s not me trying to be pushy or ‘spamming’, but just want you to know what I’m all about.

Thanks again and hope you have a great day…
